1. Perfect for babies that kick off blankets!
First of all, I had never seen or felt merino wool until I was at my girlfriend's baby shower and she received one of these gowns. It doesn't even feel like wool, and is much softer to the touch than normal wool.
I bought this because my baby boy often kicks blankets off while he's sleeping, and subsequently wakes up cold. When he wears this gown, the fabric keeps him warm and I don't have to worry about him waking in the middle of the night cold from the air conditioning. Unlike polyester or other synthetics, this seems to do a better job at regulating his temperature and keeping him warm when needed.
A note about sizing: even though he's now 7 1/2 months, he's still wearing the 3-6 month size. The fit of this product seems to be quite generous, which is a good thing.

2. Love this!!
I was lucky enough to get given one of these at my baby shower and went and bought another 2 as they are so useful. Firstly the material Merino wool is organic soft thin merino wool, it breathes well so babies don't get all hot and sweaty but still hold warmth even when wet. They are also great for the "middle of the night" feeds and needing to do a quick nappy change. The drawstring makes it really quick and easy.

Adorable baby gown that my baby loves as well! I love them, and got it along the the booties Nature Baby Merino Essentials Drawstring Booties , 0-3M, Blue Stripe Bought it on sale, although she is 6 months, she would still be able to wear this gown for a bit. It was made with amazing merino fabric with such awesome quality, very high end and this is definitely my new favorite brand.
