I purchased this hat (well, I registered for it and my brother bought it for me) to use in our daughter's newborn photo shoot. Her nursery theme is owls and has lots of bright colors. The pictures turned out great! The hat is a little big for a newborn, even a ~ 9 pounder, but the photographer just used a clip in the back to make it work.
