This give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Fleece material feels cheap
I like the look of the coat, but the fleece material looks a little cheap. The decals are nice but in general the coat is one of those items that looks great from far away but not as nice close up. The coat is also on the large side. If you have an average 18 month old, I think you could get away with your child wearing the coat up to 20-22 months.

2. Cute, runs big
Very cute coat! The hat is cute too, it just sits on top of their head though, so it's not real useful, more for looks. I thought it ran big compared to other clothing brands. My daughter is 6 months and wears 12 months clothes in most brands. So I bought the 12 month coat, but it was way too big. I bought another one in the same brand (had to get a different design b/c they didn't have this any smaller)in 6-9 months, and it is still plenty big for her and will last her all winter. I would say to go by your childs age to order the coat, not necessarily what size they are wearing now, if they are like my daughter and wearing bigger than their age. Also, the coat fastens by snaps, the buttons are just for looks.
