This Bedding & Blankets give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Not meant for babies that move
We ordered this for our 17 month old who slept in a fleece sleep sack all during the cooler months. We ordered this Aden + Anais slumber bag as a warm weather alternative since he loved being swaddled in the Aden + Anais blankets when he was much younger. Imagine our disappointment when both shoulder seams and the zipper separated on only the second night we used it. Within the week, we requested a refund, but we were never approved. It's cute, but for us, it was $32 down the toilet. I expected better quality from Aden + Anais and will certainly think twice before ordering any of their products again. Blankets, good. Sleep sacks, horrible.
2. Cute Fabric...VERY POOR DESIGN!
Okay - I'll admit it. Sometimes I purchase baby stuff because it looks cute, not because it is functional. I love the fabric and softness of the aden + anais line. If you have never used a sleep sack or are using a sleep sack on a small baby, this will work fine. But once our kid got big enough to be squirmy and to figure out the zipper, it is worthless. The main issue lies in the zipper - you have to thread the zipper together at the top of the sack, right under your squirmy baby's chin. If you are putting your baby to sleep in the dark - good luck. Also, the zipper then zips to the bottom of the sack with no closure or tab to hide it. This is perfect if you want your baby to have something to play with in the crib. Our baby unzips it and gets her feet stuck in the opening. We actually think it is too dangerous for her to use anymore. I'd suggest the Summer Infant sleep sack - the fabrics aren't as cute. However, the design is fabulous! It has 2 zippers - no threading or...

Love it - but not for stronger babies who kick!
I really like the hand feel of this sleeping bag. It is a single layer cotton muslin and great for hot summer nights. The big issue that I had with this product is that my child managed to lietrally 'kick' a hole through it (the side seam binding came apart from the main muslin fabric). The actual fabric and detail of the sleeping bag is beautiful - I just think that the company maybe should have reinforced the side seams a little bit better for 'kickers'. Also my toddler did manage to make the fabric on the back shoulder 'pull apart' a little bit. Both of these things happened only after about three uses... lovely hand feel and detail though - just maybe not great for those little ones who toss and turn a little bit at night.
